HOW MANY TIMES HAVE THE MINNESOTA TWINS WON THE WORLD SERIES?

Since the inception of the modern World Series in 1903, the Minnesota Twins have won the Series three times.

  • In 1924, when they were still the Washington Senators, against the New York Giants, four games to two
  • In 1987, as theTwins, against the St. Louis Cardinals, four games to three
  • In 1991, against the Atlanta Braves, four games to three

They won the American League pennant and got to the World Series, but lost, in 1925 and 1933 as the Washington Senators and again in 1965 after their move to the Twin Cities.
